When I looked the pictures of this presumably newer model (SPK-A0448) I liked it even better because on the CD/DVD drive side you will see that the shell protects the upper side of the drive. I thought, "Excellent!". But when the product arrived, to my dismay the newer version is identical to the previous one. Disappointed.
